This special edition of the popular series was held as a fundraiser for the Cayman Breast Cancer Foundation, combining entertainment with a meaningful cause.
A Night to Remember: Champagne, Fine Dining, and Friendly Competition
The event kicked off with a delightful champagne reception, setting the tone for an elegant evening. Guests were then treated to a four-course dinner expertly curated by the talented culinary team at Aqua Restaurant. Each course was paired with wines selected by two sommeliers, Lee Royle and Sergio Serrano, who competed to choose the best wine pairing for each dish.
As the evening progressed, guests voted on which sommelier’s wine selection complemented each course best. The lively competition was hosted by MC and organizer Vicki Wheaton, who announced the winner after each round. The event reached its climax with Sergio Serrano emerging victorious on the final course, thanks to his exceptional pairing of The Bridge by Rickety Bridge winery from South Africa.
